What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based psychotherapeutic approach, which is commonly used for a range of mental health difficulties. It aims to increase awareness of the things we struggle with and help us find ways to cope better and overcome them.

How it can help you

CBT is based on the concept that our thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and behaviours are interconnected; negative thoughts can lead to negative emotions and behaviours that can make us feel trapped in vicious cycles of difficulties that limit our lives. Therapy is a collaborative process through which we can identify what keeps our problems going and break those cycles.
